Designed to accommodate students of all levels. It will help to tone your body while enhancing balance, core strength and flexibility. Movement is guided by breath using purposeful movement to progress in and out of poses. Emphasis is on reducing physical and mental stress in the body while building strength and confidence with ease. Various options are given allowing the practitioner to move at their own pace and comfort level.
An uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices, Kundalini Yoga incorporates movement, dynamic breathing techniques and meditation. The goal is to build physical vitality and increase consciousness.
Feeling stressed or anxious? This is a good class for you. You will learn to focus on your breathing in order to become present. We will work with the breath in a way that allows you to be calmer and takes you out of the complexity of the mind. Learn how to live more consciously where you develop an intention specific to you, based on what you are personally encountering in your life as we dive into the many different meditation modalities and touch upon yoga philosophy.
Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation, a method of Pratyahara (withdrawal of senses) that allows you to scan the body and tap into a state of relaxed consciousness as the mind settles in a place between wakefulness and sleep. It is a deeply restful practice and a wonderful tool for de-stressing.
Give yourself permission to drop into stillness, to awaken your senses, and bring the body into further symmetry as you stretch and rest in full mind-body awareness. Restorative Yoga is a passive practice that uses a variety of props to support the physical body and encourage the central nervous system to relax. The postures are held in a way that releases muscular tension and expands the breath’s capacity to broaden while quieting the mind. Restore. Replenish. Reinvigorate.
one-on-one and group lessons are available

Edel’s mission is not only to nourish the body, but the mind and spirit.
As a mom of three and former investment banker on Wall Street, Edel is familiar with the complexities and expectations that come with this lifestyle. Edel integrates these learnings in her teaching and provides a safe place for people to let go and just BE.
Edel’s program builds strength, flexibility and balance through stability. She believes in creating a space to discover the truth in transition and a sense of lightness that many seek in their practice. Edel believes that a large part of yoga is going behind the illusions we create and examining our internal conversations to simply find gratitude and love for ourselves. She designs classes with purpose and offers a gift to students of every level. For Edel, yoga is so much more than the physical pose and she loves to incorporate the many different “limbs” of yoga into her teaching, including breath work, meditation, and the yogic guidelines to live by.
With 1000+ hours of training completed in many different modalities, and with a mind full of curiosity for the non-tangible realms in life, Edel is continuously studying, learning, exploring and sharing her findings in her teaching with those she encounters in the world around her.

This Jarosa yoga and meditation challenge was such a gift, and I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to participate. It was truly a blessing to have a teacher who is as passionate, nurturing, and committed as Edel, along with an inspiring supportive community of women.
I love my time with Jarosa yoga and Edel. As a yoga newbie, I stepped into the 22-day practice and meditation challenge with a little trepidation but was surprised to find myself quickly immersed in the world of mindfulness, breath work and flow. The challenged propelled me forward and now, I can’t get enough.
Life can be chaotic, stressful and confusing. Trying to find balance, clarity and inner peace can be challenging. Edel’s expert guidance, thought provoking practices and mindful approach to teaching, have all helped me find more space in my head to be more present in my daily life.
I have been with Edel, Jarosa, on and off for about 2 years. I have done in person, online classes and also a 22 days yoga meditation challenge and that is exactly what I needed for my mind, body and soul. I will be forever grateful to Edel for introducing Me to Myself.
Taking the 22 Day Challenge with Edel was a deeply transformative experience. The daily practice of yoga and meditation strengthened my body and spirit. It helped me reset my course to navigate the journey of life with pure energy, light and joy.
I signed up for Edel’s yoga class once a week, in the fall of 2022. The challenge of building back my strength was not lost on the work I needed to do which meant making those classes. Under Edel’s instruction I learned the importance of breathing and moving through the breath. I feel stronger and more energized.
My time with Edel is a highlight of my week. I have done yoga on and off for many years and have never stayed with it. Though I live 250 miles away from her studio, I choose her to teach me. I am so grateful to have found Edel!
Making time for me & my mat is a practice, & I really enjoy the practice with Edel & the Mind Calm Body Strong program. What I love most is that it’s a safe space where I can be me, learn about me, while being w/ a community of woman I enjoy getting to know & learn from.
Edel’s yoga is transformative. The magic doesn’t only happen on the mat. It is a complete, holistic life practice.
I always thought Yoga was a form of exercise and now experience how it is so much deeper. It is a reunion with the essence of who I am. Edel is deeply connected with her own self and the divine. Whether you want to have yoga be a form of exercise or a journey deep within, I would suggest working with Edel.
Jarosa is the best yoga experience I have ever had! I had taken classes at different places in New York City and in Fairfield, but never enjoyed it as much as I do gat Jarosa. Every class I have taken has allowed me to learn and grow in an encouraging environment.
